Since EmblemCon is a Discord-only convention and Discord requires users to be at least 13 years old, it is not intended for users under 13. EmblemCon and its affiliates do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If it is discovered that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, EmblemCon will promptly delete it.

When contacting EmblemCon through the contact page on the website, EmblemCon collects a name (or Discord handle) and an email address from users solely for communication purposes and responding to inquiries only. When applying to related applications during the timeframe that they are open, EmblemCon may request personal information which includes, but isn't limited to, a Discord Handle or name, personal pronouns, an email address, social media handles (if applicable), and proofs of sales (eg, receipts of transactions). This information helps verify the legitimacy of applicants and their ability to provide services in a safe and reliable manner. This information will be retained for as long as necessary for the intended purpose to be fulfilled and will be deleted once a judgement has been made and communication emails have been sent to every applicant. The retention period may vary based on the nature of the data and the period in which applications are open and until responses are sent.
EmblemCon will never ask for personal details of the clients from the proof of sale and encourages those applying to censor any personal or identifying details of the clients. In the event that personal details are not censored, EmblemCon will ensure this information is securely stored and only viewable by the internal team. Access to these files, including the accompanying URL, will be restricted using related external services, such as Google Documents, Google Forms, etc. Please review the privacy policies of the service in which you are using to submit to EmblemCon with.
EmblemCon accesses the browser's set timezone to display information in the user's time zone. This is to ensure accuracy of information and accessibility to users around the world, but this information is not stored beyond a temporary use for time conversion.
EmblemCon may ask for access to a user's Discord profile for the custom badge maker. No information is collected during this time and is used solely for the activity. This information, once authorized, is stored within a URI that is not accessible to anyone outside of the user. This information is used in compliance with Discord policies and measures.

This data, if collected from the UK, is being transferred and viewed to EmblemCon's internal team, which includes associates from countries such as Canada, the United States, and Germany.
